Okay, I didn't cook this but my Mom did. I have always loved Marmite pork. I think most people do, especially kids. =) If you do not want to use pork, you can use chicken instead and maybe even beef.
Ingredients
Sliced pork
Salt and pepper
A knob of butter
Marmite (yeast extract)
Soy sauce
Water
Honey
Curry leaves (optional)
Method
1. Use the back of your chopping knife to tenderize the sliced meat.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat up a pan or wok and use some butter to oil it.
4. Stir-fry the sliced pork.
5. Set aside the pork.
6. Mix 2 tablespoons of Marmite with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce together with some water.
7. Add some honey if you want it to be a little sweet.
8. Heat sauce in a pan until it starts to simmer.
9. Add in the pre-cooked pork slices and cook until pork becomes tender.
10. You may thicken the sauce by adding some corn flour mixed with water.
11. Garnish with some curry leaves. (Optional)
